Mina Lukić Gunner is a researcher in the field of Art History, Museology, and Heritage Studies. She holds a BA and an MA in Art History from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She is currently a PhD candidate at the same university, working on a PhD thesis entitled Heritage of Fictional Worlds in the Era of Participatory Culture: Modes of Remembering J.R.R. Tolkien's Fictional World. She has been employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica since October 2017.
She founded the Tolkien Society of Serbia and has served as its president since its establishment in 2023.
Her research interests include theory and methodology of heritage studies and museology, museum discourse, heritage interpretation and communication, cultural memory studies, popular culture, participatory culture, and Tolkien studies.
